What Makes This Role Great:

In this role, you will be the primary architect of our APAC operational strategy, directly managing revenue in excess of $100 million and overseeing critical manufacturing partnerships that bring Trimble’s hardware to life. You will lead a high-performing team and serve as the vital link between our global strategies and regional execution, making a tangible impact on our ability to deliver world-class solutions.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

• Spearhead strategic operational plans for the APAC region, aligning regional execution with Trimble's global business objectives.

• Provide direct oversight and leadership for our contract manufacturing partnership in Thailand, driving accountability and high-level performance.

• Champion a culture of operational excellence by implementing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize production and quality.

• Collaborate with global supply chain and engineering teams to integrate regional operations seamlessly into the broader Trimble ecosystem.

• Lead and mentor a diverse team of operations professionals, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Progressive Operations Management Experience: You possess 10-15 years of progressive operations management experience, including at least 5 years leading APAC manufacturing at scale.

• Contract Manufacturing: You have a proven track record of managing complex contract manufacturing relationships and owning supplier performance in Southeast Asia.

• Strategic Thinking: You are a strategic thinker with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business and a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles.

• Communication: Fluency in English, with the ability to influence stakeholders across a global, matrixed organization.

• Supply Chain: You have extensive experience navigating international trade regulations, logistics, and ERP systems within the APAC region.

Bonus Points For:

• Fluency in Thai or other relevant APAC languages.

• Master’s degree or MBA.

• Direct experience in the electronics manufacturing industry.

Logistics:

• Location: Thailand, Malaysia or Singapore Remote

• Travel Requirement: 40-50%
