JOB OVERVIEW:
To support this expansion, we are seeking a Development Communications Manager to lead the development of our corporate brand, strengthen visibility with investors and hotel owners, and position Travelodge as a trusted partner in hospitality real estate.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Define and implement a cohesive corporate brand strategy focused on investors, owners, and real estate stakeholders.
  • Shape and manage Travelodge’s brand narrative as a reliable, performance-driven operator across Asia’s growth markets.
  • Ensure brand identity is consistently applied across corporate materials, digital platforms, and investor communications.
  • Create high-quality thought leadership content targeted to hotel owners and real estate investors.
  • Position Travelodge leadership as credible voices in hospitality investment, real estate, and mid-scale hotel growth.
  • Drive visibility in industry events, conferences, and regional investment forums.
  • Lead media and PR strategy across Asia-Pacific hospitality and real estate media platforms.
  • Manage corporate announcements, press releases, and crisis communications.
  • Partner with Development and Investment teams to create compelling case studies, investor decks, and performance success stories.
  • Identify and leverage effective regional platforms and channels to reach stakeholders in Japan, Korea, China. 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 10–15 years in corporate communications, B2B branding, or external relations, with strong exposure to real estate investment and hospitality.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop investor/owner-focused content and manage communications in a cross-border, multi-market context.
  • Knowledge of key communication platforms and industry networks across Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, and Southeast Asia.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with investor, developers, hotel owners, and media.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
