COMPANY DESCRIPTION
THKMC was incorporated on 13 October 2011 as a charity to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large, and achieved an Institute of Public Character (IPC) status on 18 November 2011. THKMC is the charitable arm of Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society, which lives by the mission – To Serve Mankind – to help anyone who needs help regardless of their race, religion, colour, language, creed and culture. THKMC today serves more than 70,000 beneficiaries through more than 70 programmes across five Services, which include Disability, Early Intervention for Children, Family, Seniors’ Community, and Therapy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Programme Management
- Work closely with other departments to understand residents’ needs and enhance meaningful engagement.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement a variety of activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
- Observe, monitor, and document residents’ participation and behaviors during programmes, providing insights for improvement.
- Maintain inventory and ensure timely replenishment of programme resources.
Volunteer Management
- Source, engage, and liaise with potential volunteers to support volunteer activities.
- Conduct volunteer briefings, outlining role expectations, residents' needs, and effective engagement strategies.
- Supervise volunteer-led activities to ensure alignment with programme goals.
- Collect volunteer feedback, identify areas for improvement, and address gaps in volunteer engagement.
- Coordinate with the different team to ensure smooth integration of volunteer activities within the home
Resident Management
- Assist in assessing residents’ needs and setting relevant goals in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Support the implementation of intervention plans as required to enhance residents' well-being and engagement.
Others
- Assist the Programme Executive in other ad-hoc duties assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- NITEC or GCE ‘O’ or ‘N’ Level
