Manager, Energy Transition Planning

Responsibilities:

• Energy transition consultancy, such as (working with our energy transition team to plan the future-state of an industrial park’s energy mix and) evaluating the business model and case for different scenarios
• Investment promotion, such as synthesising industry development insights and industry engagement (including cold calling corporates internationally)
• Digitalisation consultancy, such as reviewing industrial park processes and IT systems so as to develop a data strategy and high-level system architecture (including working with partners to develop user requirements for an Integrated Command Centre)
• Economic advisory, such as formulating industry development strategies and programmes to capture value and grow output, value add, and land uptake sustainably
   

Requirements:

• Understanding of energy transition fundamentals and ability to perform financial modelling
• Familiarity with the digitalisation consultancy, having been part of a team undertaking similar industrial projects in the past  
• Some knowledge and interest in cold-calling and economic advisory
• Good PowerPoint skills; not afraid to present to and engage senior corporate executives
• Willing to travel and spend a few weeks on business travel, in countries such as Africa and China
• Growth mindset, positive attitude, and generally agreeable and supportive
