About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Officer to ensure our operations meet all regulatory requirements, particularly those set by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). This role is critical in coordinating audits, conducting quality assurance, developing policy, and ensuring robust anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-financing of terrorism (CFT) controls across the organization.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and coordinate AML audits and assurance engagements, including regulatory and statutory audits required to obtain and maintain MAS licences.
  • Partner with regulators and auditors to support governance requirements, including preparation of board and shareholder resolutions where needed.
  • Conduct independent quality assurance reviews across key AML/CFT controls such as onboarding and name screening.
  • Identify compliance gaps and drive effective remediation plans in collaboration with operational and compliance teams.
  • Manage external due diligence requests from partners and stakeholders, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality responses.
  • Oversee vendor and outsourcing compliance, including due diligence and policy updates in line with MAS Outsourcing Guidelines.
  • Drive compliance and regulatory change projects end-to-end, ensuring clear tracking, strong execution, and stakeholder alignment.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in a Compliance, Audit, or Risk role within the financial services industry, preferably in Singapore.
  • Knowledge of MAS regulations, notices, and guidelines, specifically related to AML/CFT and Outsourcing.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate regulatory and statutory compliance audits
  • Strong analytical skills for conducting quality assurance reviews.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for policy development and delivering training.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver compliance-related projects and regulatory change initiatives, coordinating across functions to ensure timely implementation of regulatory requirements and remediation actions.
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., ACAMS, ICA) is advantageous
