Requisition ID: 76872 Job Responsibilities Own and drive tool uptime, MTBF, and OEE improvements across assigned equipment. Lead complex root cause analysis for chronic repeat issues, excursions, process drift, and high-impact tool failures. Manage and optimize FDC models, SPC limits, and trend rules to ensure early issue detection and robust process monitoring. Partner with cross-functional teams to address tool-to-tool matching, process deviations, or yield-impacting conditions. Lead continuous improvement projects such as PM optimization, cycle time reduction, throughput improvements, and failure-mode elimination. Provide daily direction, technical guidance, and escalation support to shift Equipment Technicians. Deliver structured training to technicians on troubleshooting, PM best practices, safety, and tool health indicators. Coordinate with vendors for escalations, upgrades, and recovery actions. Ensure PM compliance and develop enhanced PM procedures. Monitor equipment metrics such as MTBF/MTTR, alarm frequency, chamber health indicators, uptime %, and FDC-triggered warnings. Job Requirements Degree in Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or equivalent. Minimum 1 year semiconductor equipment experience (vacuum, PVD, or dry etch). Strong understanding of vacuum technology, plasma physics, thin-film deposition fundamentals, equipment control systems, and FDC/SPC monitoring. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technicians. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. Excellent troubleshooting skills for both hardware and process interactions. Skyworks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
