[What the role is]
Enterprise Singapore’s Corporate Communications division plays an important role in shaping the perception of the organisation as the lead agency that grows stronger enterprises, develops Singapore as a hub for global trading, innovation and startups, and builds trust in Singapore enterprises, products and services through quality and standards.We engage the business community through various media, marketing and event initiatives, growing stronger enterprises by promoting the Singapore brand across key global markets and industries.
As an Events Business Partner, you will work closely with our divisions and wider Communications teams to plan and execute events that align to our agency objectives and strategic priorities (e.g. conferences, exhibitions, bilateral meetings, networking events). You will also collaborate with external stakeholders, partners, vendors, and service providers in managing multiple projects of varying complexity from conceptualisation and procurement through to onsite coordination and post-event analysis.
[What you will be working on]
- Partner divisions to plan, and execute events with clearly defined objectives, target audience, and messaging. Advise on event formats, platforms, and programming to best achieve business outcomes.
- Manage event budgets, procurement, and vendor coordination. Appoint and work with vendors to support event operations (e.g. event management companies, venues, and F&B providers).
- Oversee all aspects of event production including site inspections, rehearsals, VIP and protocol management, technical coordination, and contingency planning.
- Work closely with Marketing and Design colleagues to manage the development of creative deliverables to ensure alignment to brand guidelines (e.g. backdrops, printed collaterals, digital banners).
- Manage event platforms and engagement tools to optimise attendee experience and maximise event content.
- Review completed events to identify key learnings and suggest/implement recommendations for future editions.
[What we are looking for]
- You should have a recognised degree with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience organising events in the MICE (meetings, incentives, conventions, exhibitions) industry.
- You should be results-oriented, motivated and resourceful.
- You should have strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and high-level delegates confidently.
- Experienced in managing multiple events simultaneously, with good negotiation skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Familiar with event platforms, digital tools and new technologies for creating engaging experiences.
- Knowledge of government protocols and procurement processes is an advantage.
