About the role - you will: Supplier assessment & qualification: audits, process qualification, and inspection plans. Data & AI: analyze supplier quality metrics (e.g., process and contamination), build predictive models linking supplier inputs to product outcomes, and report trends. Problem solving: root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and proactive risk prevention via design/process reviews. Compliance & documentation: review component qualification data and ensure alignment with industry/company standards (e.g., design/assembly requirements, RoHS, PFAS). Continuous improvement: collaborate with suppliers and cross ‑ functional teams to elevate quality and reduce cost. About you: Self-motivated and process strong learning towards new technology and skillsets A good team player with the ability to work independently Good organizational and time management skills Your experience includes: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Quality Management, Production, or related field. Having foundational knowledge of quality control principles and proficiency in data analysis tools such as KNIME, Power BI and JMP is an added advantage Location: The Shugart site (named after Seagate’s founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center. Easily accessible from the One-North MRT Station, many employees choose to take mass transportation to work.
