Project Manager (2-year Contract)

Your Key Responsibilities Take a hands-on role in managing projects across all phases - initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and proper documentation. Develop and maintain project charters and management plans, actively overseeing scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, procurement, and stakeholder engagement. Perform budgeting and forecasting tasks directly, ensuring accurate financial planning, cost control, and alignment with organizational objectives. Plan and coordinate VIP visits and high-level meetings personally, managing logistics and stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth execution. Collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, research institutes, and government bodies to drive innovation and secure new project opportunities. Support open innovation initiatives by engaging with startups and innovation networks to enhance Schaeffler’s R&D portfolio. Lead user experience strategy for innovation projects, including design research, user journey mapping, and technology roadmap development. Facilitate discussions with NTU and other stakeholders on research and innovation projects, contributing to strategic ideation and proposal development. Your Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Marketing, Design, Business, or a related field or equivalent practical experience, with specialization in Project Management, Product Design, or User Experience (UX). Minimum 2 years of experience managing large-scale, complex R&D projects and working with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with research areas such as Robotics, Mobile Robots, and IoT applications is a plus. Solid knowledge of project management principles and the full project life cycle. Experience with Agile and SDLC methodologies preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Excel; experience with JIRA, GitHub, and Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and risk management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
