Full Description

Global Technology Solutions (GTS) at ResMed is a division dedicated to creating innovative, scalable, and secure platforms and services for patients, providers, and people across ResMed. The primary goal of GTS is to accelerate well-being and growth by transforming the core, enabling patient, people, and partner outcomes, and building future-ready operations.

The strategy of GTS focuses on aligning goals and promoting collaboration across all organizational areas. This includes fostering shared ownership, developing flexible platforms that can easily scale to meet global demands, and implementing global standards for key processes to ensure efficiency and consistency.

The primary role of the Lead Integration Architect is to assess and design requirements that embed the technical architecture of the Discovery program in an Agile technology team. The Lead Integration Architect will work closely with the Business analysts and Product Owners as well as platform teams and external consultants. 

SC Discovery is a strategic phase within the Ignite programme focused on shaping the future of ResMed’s Supply Chain capabilities. It is not about selecting specific applications yet; rather, it aims to define the future state architecture, capabilities, and design principles that will guide subsequent delivery phases. This phase ensures alignment between business strategy and technology enablement, creating a resilient, compliant, and scalable supply chain ecosystem. 

  • Capability Roadmap & Taxonomy 
    Establish a structured capability taxonomy for supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, and related domains. This includes areas like Source-to-Receipt, Planning, Quality Management, Data & AI. 

  • Architectural North Star 
    Define a clear target architecture to guide solution selection and integration across programmes (e.g., Network 2030, Enterprise MDM). This involves conceptual application views, integration patterns, and governance models. 

  • Fit-Gap Analysis & Future State Design 
    Conduct detailed assessments of current processes and systems, identify gaps, and outline high-value design decisions for the next five years. 

SC Discovery spans multiple streams: 

  • Functional streams and business architecture: Mapping processes across manufacturing, logistics, inventory, and quality. 

  • Architectural enablers: Covering ERP, data architecture, observability, security, and automation. 

The integration architect oversees all the Architectural / technical enablers related to integration: 

  • Enterprise Integration Platform (Oracle Integration Cloud, event-driven architecture, AWS, Boomi). 

  • API Gateway and REST services for secure, standardised connectivity. 

  • Event-driven orchestration to enable near real-time updates and decoupled systems.

  • Drive integration strategy using Oracle Integration Cloud, API-first design, and event-driven architecture. 

  • Support IT/OT integration for factory automation, network resilience, and smart sequencing. 

  • Collaborate with Domain Solution Architects, Business analysts and business stakeholders to identify the requirements, define project scope and design software solutions. 

  • Have regular conversations with other tech teams and platforms across ResMed on tech stack standardisations and extensions. 

  • Lead the technical integration strategy for Supply Chain - provide technical direction, architectural decisions, and oversight of how and when features will be implemented. 

  • Understand boundaries, strengths, and weaknesses of as-is application(s) landscape 

  • Ensure solution adheres to enterprise design principles and reeport to Enterprise Architecture (EA) team and Integration platform team 

  • Design integration for security, stability, sustainability and performance  

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience 
Required: 

  • Minimum 7 years working as a solution architect / technical or integration architect 

  • Working understanding of Agile methodologies and ways of working 

  • Experience in working with customers and product owners 

  • Experience in solution enhancement and analysis 

  • Experience with AWS stack and Databases 

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. 

 
Preferred: 

  • Experience with Boomi 

  • Experience with APIs and Swagger 

  • Experience with Kafka 

  • Experience with MQTT protocols, SOAP, REST 

  • TOGAF Certificate 

  • AWS Certificate 

  • Supply Chain industry experience
