About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented Principal/Senior Product Manager to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our retail trading platform. This role requires deep domain expertise in both cryptocurrency and traditional financial (TradFi) trading products to deliver a seamless, high-performance, and compliant user experience that positions our platform as an industry leader.
What You'll Be Doing:
-
Trading Automation & Bot Product Ownership: Own the strategy, design, and delivery of OKX’s trading automation products, including trading bots, algorithmic trading tools, copy trading, and API-based trading capabilities. Build products that enable users to execute sophisticated trading strategies efficiently, reliably, and at scale.
-
Algorithmic Trading & Strategy Enablement: Design and evolve bot frameworks and algorithmic trading capabilities that support a wide range of trading strategies across spot and derivatives. This includes familiarity with common proprietary and systematic trading strategies (e.g. grid, DCA, momentum, mean reversion, signal-based execution) and translating them into scalable, user-friendly product abstractions.
-
Roadmap & Execution Accountability: Define and execute product roadmaps for trading automation, taking accountability for prioritisation, sequencing, release planning, testing, and launch. Balance innovation, stability, and speed in a high-throughput trading environment.
-
User & Market Insight: Develop deep understanding of trader behaviour, automation use cases, and strategy-driven trading needs through user research, data analysis, and competitive benchmarking. Translate insights into differentiated automation features that drive engagement and trading volume.
-
End-to-End Product Lifecycle Management: Lead automation products from discovery and ideation through design, development, launch, iteration, and scaling. Continuously refine products based on performance data, user feedback, and evolving market conditions.
-
Compliance-Driven Product Localisation: Partner closely with local Compliance and Legal teams to localise trading automation products for individual regulated jurisdictions. Ensure product configurations, feature availability, and user flows align with regional regulatory requirements while maintaining a consistent global product experience.
-
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Design, Trading, Risk, Operations, and Business teams to deliver high-quality automation products. Align global and regional stakeholders around priorities, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
-
Stakeholder Engagement & Product Leadership: Lead product discussions with senior stakeholders, clearly articulate automation strategy and trade-offs, and provide regular updates on roadmap progress, risks, and performance.
-
Technical, UX & Design Leadership: Partner deeply with Engineering and Design to evaluate technical feasibility, system performance, and UX trade-offs. Champion intuitive workflows, transparent strategy configuration, and clear performance reporting for bot and algo users.
-
Data-Driven Optimisation: Define, track, and monitor KPIs such as bot adoption, active strategies, trading volume, retention, and profitability. Use data to guide prioritisation, improve UX, and optimise automation outcomes for both users and the business.
