As a Mortgage - Direct Sales specialist, you will manage internally generated leads and play a key role in converting customer enquiries into successful mortgage outcomes. You succeed by taking a disciplined, customer-centric approach to lead management. By responding promptly to internal leads within agreed SLAs / turnaround time, delivering quality customer engagements, and maintaining strong follow-up practices, you build trust and guide customers confidently towards closure which maximises conversion opportunities. Building effective internal partnerships, exercising sound judgement in prioritising leads, and consistently delivering professional, compliant sales interactions will be critical to your success. Performance will be measured by lead turnaround time, conversion ratio, and achievement of sales targets.
What you do
Manage and follow up on internal leads from various sources, including call centre enquiries, staff loan applications, online lead forms, and other internal channels.
Qualify and nurture leads with quick turnaround time and within SLA requirements to maximise conversion rates.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as the Call Centre, HR (for staff loans), and CCU to ensure smooth lead referral and timely follow-up.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of customer interactions and lead progress in the CRM system.
Provide feedback to internal teams on lead quality and customer insights to continuously improve lead generation processes.
Ensure full compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements when handling customer and staff-related information.
Effectively prioritise and manage multiple leads while maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism.
Drive sales performance through consistent follow-up, quality customer calls, and effective closure techniques.
Achieve and exceed sales targets, with performance measured by conversion ratio and overall sales outcomes.
Support selected internal servicing cases, such as internal restructuring cases.
Who you are
Possess a university degree, preferably with a background in finance, business, or a related discipline.
Possess relevant experience in mortgage, secured lending, or direct sales, with a demonstrated sales track record.
Are sales-driven, motivated, and results-oriented, with strong follow-up discipline and accountability for outcomes.
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers professionally and confidently.
Are well-organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Are able to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders.
