We’re hiring a Media Relations Lead, to shape and drive how NUS Enterprise’s story is told—amplifying our role as Singapore’s deep tech and innovation catalyst to global audiences.
The Role
As Media Relations Lead, you’ll be the architect of NUS Enterprise’s public voice. You’ll draft compelling narratives, secure impactful media coverage, and build trusted relationships with journalists, editors, and thought leaders across Singapore, the region, and beyond.
You will lead day-to-day media strategy and execution in partnership with an appointed PR agency. This is a strategic yet hands-on role for someone who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, reputation management, and innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Shape narratives – Develop and deliver strategic media plans that position NUS Enterprise as a global leader in innovation, entrepreneurship, and venture creation.
- Work with agency partners – Lead and oversee an appointed PR agency to ensure effective media outreach, consistent messaging, and measurable impact.
- Build relationships – Cultivate strong ties with local, regional, and international journalists across print, digital, and broadcast media.
- Lead outreach – Proactively pitch stories, respond to media queries, and prepare spokespersons for interviews and media engagements.
- Protect reputation – Anticipate issues, manage crisis communications, and ensure NUS Enterprise maintains credibility and trust.
- Measure impact – Track and report media performance, distilling insights to inform future media campaigns and strategy.
- Collaborate widely – Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure consistent, aligned messaging across platforms.
- Manage and mentor – Guide a direct report, providing coaching, feedback, and support to strengthen execution and professional growth.
