The National Institute of Education invites suitable candidates to join the Asian Languages and Cultures (ALC) Department as a Senior Executive.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to academic and faculty operations to ensure smooth and efficient daily processes.
Coordinate Semester Feedback Tool (SFT), including bookings, troubleshooting, and timely distribution of reports for faculty and part-time lecturers (PTL).
Prepare and manage timetables, class lists, attendance records, and course assignments with accuracy and within stipulated timelines.
Support examination administration, including the collation and submission of examination question papers and marks lists, ensuring strict confidentiality.
Assist with procurement, assets, inventory, mail dispatch, and general office operations.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and visiting staff or scholars when required.
Provide administrative support for meetings, events, seminars, and conferences, including preparing and collating documentation, and minute-taking.
Maintain proper records management, confidential documents, inventory, and general office administration duties.
Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
A Polytechnic Diploma in Business, Accounting, or related field.
Preferably at least 1 to 2 years of work experience in IHLs or similar settings.
Experience in handling exam matters, timetabling will be an advantage.
Organized, meticulous in handling data and a service-oriented mind-set.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt, with problem-solving skills.
An effective team player with the ability to work independently is preferred.
Ability to prioritize and plan work activities in an organized manner, able to multi-task, track and deliver assignments on schedule.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
