We are looking for a Research Associate to support the research for the project titled “The Self-healing Cement Additive and Its Applications”. The role will focus on carrying out research according to the proposed milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

The Research Associate (RA) will work on a project to develop self-healing cement additive and explore its applications in concrete materials and structures. The RA should have previous experience in chemical synthesis and analysis, concrete sample preparation, mechanical testing and microstructural characterization (XRD, TGA, FTIR and SEM-EDX).

Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Material Science or Chemistry or related field

• Strong academic standing with several publications in reputable journals

• Strong references from previous supervisors

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Proficiency in chemical synthesis and analysis, concrete sample preparation, mechanical testing and microstructural characterization (XRD, TGA, FTIR and SEM-EDX).
