We are looking for a Research Associate to help developing AI-powered ground penetrating radar (GPR) for accurate imaging of tree roots buried in confined areas. The role will focus on development of AI algorithms to detect and image the tree roots, to develop signal processing techniques, and to perform the field tests.
Key Responsibilities:
Development of AI and signal processing techniques for accurate tree root detection and imaging
Enhancement of the existing GPR technology
Performing measurements on the field
Fusing the existing technology with other sensing technologies
Job Requirements:
MSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field
Solid background in electromagnetics (must) and radar sensing and signal processing (preferred)
Experience in the development of AI algorithms (preferred)
A publication record (preferred)
High academic credentials from a reputable institution
Proficiency in Matlab and Phyton
Good written and oral communication skills
