About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Digital Supply Chain Intern to support the execution of data-driven, technology-enabled SCM initiatives. You will assist in process mapping, data analysis, tool implementation, and performance reporting across planning, buying, and logistics. This role is ideal for someone interested in how digital tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate, Data Lake / Data Mart (Mantis, Trino), GenAI, etc.) transform supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project planning and execution for digital SCM initiatives (scope, milestones, status updates, risk tracking).

  • Gather, clean, and analyse supply chain data (e.g., demand, inventory, lead times, order cycle, logistics costs) to improve visibility across functions, simplify operations, and identify cross-functional trends and improvement opportunities.

  • Build dashboards and reports in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) to monitor KPIs such as iOTIF, capacity utilization, and schedule adherence.

  • Assist with process mapping and documentation (how the digital tools were built, SOPs, user guides) for Digital Projects.

  • Participate in testing and validation of digital solutions (UAT, test scripts, defect logging) for ERP modules and adjacent systems (APS, WMS/TMS, MES, eProcurement).

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (automation, RPA, workflow optimization) and recommend suitable solutions.

  • Monitor industry trends in digital SCM (AI/ML forecasting, digital twins, control towers, IoT) and share relevant insights.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Data/Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Foundational knowledge of supply chain concepts (S&OP, MRP, inventory management, logistics, procurement).

  • Basic proficiency with analytics and data tools: Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups), SQL or Python basics, and at least one BI platform (Power BI/Tableau/Qlik).

  • Familiarity with SAP ECC data structures.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills; attention to detail.

  • Clear, concise communication; ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

  • Self-starter with curiosity about digital transformation and process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience (coursework or projects) with demand/supply planning tools (e.g., Maestro, SAP ECC, etc )..

  • Experience with data visualization, DAX/Power Query, PowerBI or Python libraries (pandas).
