Key Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound imaging, including:
- Arterial Stiffness Measurement (Pulse Wave Velocity [PWV], Augmentation Index [AIx]
- Brachial Artery Flow-Mediated Dilation (FMD)
- Carotid Intima-Media Thickness (CIMT) with plaque analysis
- General and abdominal ultrasound scans (e.g. liver, renal, aorta, gallbladder).
- Prepare comprehensive imaging reports with accurate measurements and preliminary impressions for physician review
- Calibrate and maintain diagnostic ultrasound equipment used in cardiometabolic risk assessment
- Educate patients on the procedures and assist in integrating findings into lifestyle treatment plans
- Ensure high-quality imaging following established protocols and clinical standards
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Singapore’s healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with physicians, health coaches, and nutritionists as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Assisting the Head of Clinical Operations on quality checks and internal audits to maintain licensing compliance
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or Medical Ultrasonography
- Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) Singapore
- Overseas-trained sonographers must apply for full registration with AHPC
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in vascular and general sonography
- Proficiency in performing: Vascular ultrasound (CIMT, FMD, PWV, AIx) and abdominal and small parts ultrasound
- Familiarity with ultrasound devices used in research-grade vascular measurements (e.g: SphygmoCor or similar)
- High level of attention to detail and image quality
