Reports To: Head of Exercise

Role Overview

Personal Trainers at MORROW are educators and specialists, responsible for delivering highly personalised, data-informed training experiences. They integrate insights from medical assessments, diagnostics, and lifestyle medicine principles to curate safe, effective, and goal-driven programs.

This role demands technical knowledge, clear communication, and the ability to empower members with both results and education. Trainers are expected to use AI-driven tools, functional assessments, and evidence-based protocols to ensure every session is precise, personalised, and impactful.

Key Responsibilities

Personalised Coaching & Program Delivery

  • Develop and deliver individualised training programs based on each member’s medical assessment profile (e.g., blood biomarkers, DEXA scans, cardiovascular fitness, mobility assessments).
  • Utilise AI-powered strength equipment and performance tracking tools to monitor progress and refine programming.
  • Integrate functional movements, alignment, breathwork, and mindful exercise into every program.
  • Educate members on proper form, biomechanics, and the connection between today’s training and tomorrow’s health outcomes.

Assessment & Integration

  • Conduct movement screenings and physical assessments to supplement medical data.
  • Work with Medical and Allied Health teams (physicians, physiotherapists, dietitians) to integrate exercise prescriptions into broader health and lifestyle plans.
  • Adapt programming for members with specific conditions, limitations, or rehabilitation needs, always prioritising safety and sustainability.

Member Empowerment & Education

  • Teach members how to use equipment effectively, including AI-powered machines, to encourage independent and safe training.
  • Provide ongoing education on exercise science, recovery, and lifestyle habits that support long-term results.
  • Empower members to track their progress, celebrate milestones, and build ownership of their journey.

Collaboration & Community

  • Collaborate with the Head Coach and Programming Manager to ensure consistency and integration of PT services into overall programming.
  • Work closely with Group Fitness Instructors to provide progression pathways for members transitioning from group classes to personal training (and vice versa).
  • Foster community through personal connection, celebrating member growth and results.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain accurate client records, progress notes, and training logs.
  • Ensure all equipment is used safely and effectively.
  • Uphold MORROW’s brand standards in every session, ensuring a consistent, high-touch experience.
