Manulife Singapore is seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager / Manager to join our Strategic Development team. This role is designed to complement existing team capabilities by bringing expertise in consulting-grade presentation development, compelling narrative crafting, and advanced analytics. You will play a critical role in elevating our strategic engagement with bank partners and internal stakeholders, supporting our growth ambitions.

Position Responsibilities

  • Shape and communicate strategic priorities through data‑driven plans and compelling narratives for senior stakeholders and DBS.

  • Develop high‑quality, visually impactful presentation decks for SLT and partner engagements.

  • Lead proactive analytics and scenario modelling to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions.

  • Enhance MIS reporting and management presentations with deeper insights and data visualisation.

  • Apply financial and analytical expertise to guide business planning, budgeting, and performance review discussions.

  • Collaborate with senior team members and cross‑functional partners to support strategic initiative execution.

  • Monitor KPIs, diagnose performance drivers, and recommend strategies for continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.

  • Experience in consulting or corporate strategy, with exposure to bancassurance, insurance, or broader financial services

  • Proven ability to craft high-quality, structured, and persuasive presentations (PowerPoint mastery).

  • Familiarity with scenario modelling and data visualisation best practices.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with proficiency in Excel and Power BI.

  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ability to analyse complex datasets and extract business insights.

  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to present insights clearly and persuasively in senior business forums.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, highly collaborative environments.

  • Prior exposure to strategic partnerships or distribution channels.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
