Role Profile

The Post‑trade APAC Sales team is responsible for driving the commercial growth of LCH’s clearing and post‑trade solutions across the Asia‑Pacific region. As part of a leading global clearing house, we work closely with banks, asset managers, hedge funds, corporates and market infrastructures to support adoption of LCH’s services across interest rate, FX and other derivatives markets.

Operating in a dynamic, multi‑asset environment, we focus on deepening client relationships, identifying new growth opportunities, supporting regulatory engagement across key APAC jurisdictions, and partnering with our global colleagues in Product, Risk, Operations and beyond to deliver a best‑in‑class client experience.

ROLE SUMMARY

As a Senior Associate in the LCH APAC Sales team, you will join us in driving the growth of LCH’s clearing and post‑trade solutions across a diverse and rapidly evolving regional client base.
You will help us strengthen client relationships, deliver commercial analysis and support client engagement across banks, buy‑side firms and market infrastructures, working with our global teams to ensure high‑quality outcomes for our users.
Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, commercial curiosity, the ability to build trusted relationships, and a willingness to learn the full breadth of LCH’s post‑trade ecosystem.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Supporting our APAC team on client engagement, including meeting preparation, follow‑ups and account reviews.
  • Helping us identify and progress new membership, clearing and post‑trade opportunities across the region.
  • Building day‑to‑day relationships with existing clients and understanding their clearing, risk and post‑trade needs.
  • Conducting commercial analysis, including portfolio impacts, margin/capital benefits and revenue opportunity assessments.
  • Preparing presentations, analysis, commercial proposals and internal briefings to support client and internal discussions.
  • Coordinating with our global colleagues in Product, Risk, Operations, Legal and Compliance to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Collaborating with Acadia, Quantile, SwapAgent and other post‑trade businesses on joint commercial opportunities.
  • Supporting regulatory and market‑structure engagement through research, consultation inputs and meeting materials.
  • Enhancing our client‑facing materials, including thought leadership, market updates and product collateral.
  • Maintaining accurate reporting on P&L, pipeline development, client activity and commercial progress.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Essential Skills

  • Understanding of clearing, financial derivatives or broader post‑trade market infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn client data into insights.
  • A commercial mindset with experience in sales planning, business analysis or client strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to build rapport across teams and clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, stay organised and operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong presentation‑building skills (PowerPoint/Excel).
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with a willingness to learn and take ownership.

Desirable Skills

  • Familiarity with margining, collateral, capital optimisation or risk analytics.
  • Experience supporting sell‑side or buy‑side client relationships.
  • Exposure to APAC regulatory frameworks or market‑structure developments.
  • Experience in a bank, exchange, CCP, post‑trade or fintech environment.
