You will lead and shape quality control activities that protect patients and support manufacturing. You will work closely with testing teams, operations, and technical specialists. Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Lead and coach a QC team to deliver accurate, timely analytical testing and meet site KPIs.

  • Lead and provide support for all laboratory-related activities (e.g. Tiers, Gemba, DMAIC, 5S standard work, data reviews, etc).

  • Manage investigations, deviations and CAPA for analytical, chemistry and biochemistry related events.

  • Maintain and author GMP documentation including SOPs, protocols, reports and electronic change controls.

  • Act as subject matter expert for chemistry, biochemistry, environmental monitoring, water systems and laboratory equipment qualification.

  • Support internal and external audits and make sure regulatory expectations are met.

  • Support timely projects, method validation, verification and transfer for chemical and biochemistry methods.

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, life sciences, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 4 to 6 years’ experience in a QC or analytical laboratory, preferably in pharmaceutical or life sciences.

  • Hands-on experience with GMP principles and laboratory quality systems.

  • Experience leading small teams or supervising laboratory analysts.

  • Strong problem solving skills (e.g. Identifies / reports /resolve / escalate issues promptly and appropriately and implement appropriate corrective actions.)

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Advanced degree (MSc) in relevant science discipline.

  • Experience with chemistry, biochemistry, environmental monitoring and water system testing.

  • Experience with stability testing and stability data review processes.

  • Experience with method validation, verification and transfer activities.

  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment qualification and calibration programs.

  • Experience supporting regulatory inspections as a subject matter expert.

  • Knowledge of electronic quality systems and laboratory information systems.
