Job Description Summary

Facilitate a team of NDT Inspectors in the inspection of repaired and manufactured parts. Ensure that all equipment, chemicals and material used for NDT, meets the applicable specification requirements.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate, train and coordinate the activities of the NDT teams. Impart proper skills towards processing and inspection of all parts to ensure the needs for business in terms of inspection services are met as a result of an efficient and high performing team.

  • Look after proper maintenance of NDT inspection systems so that they meet the requirements of regulating agencies.

  • Coordinate radiation-emitting area and personnel to be in compliance with all radiation safety regulations.

  • Maintain personnel expertise and formal certification in the appropriate NDT disciplines.

  • Develop the NDT staff with sufficient training and formal certification so that the needs of the business are adequately covered, including back-up.

  • Develop and approve NDT Standard Operating Procedures, work instruction and techniques.

  • Function as the primary technical interface and engineering resource on all NDT-related issues. (Preferable covering Radiography, MPI, FPI, UT, ECI)

  • Constantly explore and seek better ways and more efficient methods of allowing the business to perform NDT in the most optimal manner.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a NDT professional with advanced certifications (ASNT Level 2, NAS 410/EN4179 Level 2, PCN/AERO Level 2) and extensive expertise across multiple NDT processes (PT, MPI, ET, UT, RT). They possess strong leadership, facilitation, and problem-solving skills, along with a dynamic approach to optimizing inspection systems and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree (Engineering or Material Science) or equivalent

  • Diploma (Engineering or Material Science) or equivalent with 4 years of Aerospace experience and an additional 2 years as a NDT Level 2 in Aerospace industry.

  • ASNT NDT LEVEL 2, PT, MPI, ET, UT & RT

  • NAS 410 /EN4179 2 , PT, MPI, ET, UT & RT

  • PCN/AERO Level 2, PT, MPI, ET, UT & RT

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience on the following NDT process:

  • PT : Method A and D ( Manual and Automated) UT: Contact A scan and immersion C scan ET: Manual and Automated RT: Film / Filmless ( CR, DDA & CT)

  • Level 2 skill in PT, MPI, ET , UT & RT

  • Knowledge of manufacturing process and product technology

  • Dynamic with Leadership skill

  • Facilitation skill

  • Good command of written/spoken English

  • Basic knowledge of PC software

  • Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn

  • Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively

  • Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed
