We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our Economics & Investment Strategy team under the Investments function. The internship offers a compelling opportunity to gain first-hand experience of macroeconomic and investment strategy research in Asia’s leading private sector asset manager. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Participate in macroeconomic research focused on generating expectations for asset market performance. Perform detailed analysis of earnings surprise and earnings revisions strategies in Asian markets and build real time analytical dashboards across equity, fixed income, and currency markets. Implement this analysis and tools in R/Python. ------------------------- QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Currently pursuing a degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field. Solid grounding in macroeconomic/finance theory. University level econometrics and R/Python programming skills preferred. Experience with Bloomberg, Refinitiv Datastream and CEIC would be an advantage Passion for financial market research and attention to detail. Eastspring is an equal opportunity employer.
