Job Description
As a Sustainability Business Development Intern, you will support the team in driving business growth through sales, marketing, and lead management activities within the sustainability sector. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to understand how sustainability solutions are positioned, promoted, and developed across various industries, while gaining valuable exposure to commercial processes and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with preparing pre-qualification documents for tenders and inquires
2. Register and update leads/opportunities in the internal CRM system, and maintain to current status when required
3. Support sales outreach activities, including vendor and subcontractor follow-ups, quotation consolidation, and client correspondence
4. Assist in marketing and business development initiatives, such as preparing sales decks, case studies, and promotional materials for sustainability-related offerings
5. Provide administrative and coordination support to the business development team, including meeting scheduling, data tracking, and internal reporting
Job Requirements
•Currently pursuing an education in Business, Marketing, Sustainable Built Environment, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field
•Strong interest in sustainability, green economy, and business growth strategies
•Good analytical and research skills, with proficiency in Excel or PowerPoint for data presentation and reporting
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and follow-through
•Proactive, organized, and eager to learn the commercial and strategic aspects of sustainability business development
