Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform daily IT operation task including health checks, onboarding/offboarding of staff. • Monitor and maintain desktops, servers and network to meet predefined service level. • Monitor and maintain the bank’s CCTV system, Access Card System and IT Telephony and recording system. • Provide support and coordinate with users for disaster recovery and BCP drill. • Install PC/LAN hardware and software and assist users in resolving PC/Printer/Phone system by performing troubleshooting. • Periodic review, evaluate and standardize networking and server platform including hardware/software. • Provide support in facility management. • Conduct risk assessment and review to ensure compliance to Security guidelines to MAS TRM, CTS and Outsourcing. • Work closely with vendor on patch management and maintenance of server room. AML/CTF Responsibilities • Support frontline and adhere to anti-money laundering / counter terrorist financing requirement and sanction risks controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.

Requirements:

·        Ensure IT systems and controls and DR BCP are adhered and maintained to comply with regulatory requirements.

·        Ensure the latest patches applied in IT systems such as servers and end users’ computers, etc. 

·        Stay relevant with the latest regulatory, policy, procedural and technology changes and requirements and take appropriate actions to address IT security gaps and vulnerabilities.

Ensure IT systems are regularly patched and IT risks mitigated to prevent any IT incident that will affect Bank’s operation
