Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: spearhead efforts to establish and maintain a broad network of relationships within both the public and private sectors across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines.

  • Proactively identify opportunities, generate transaction ideas and sell these to potential clients – this would include advising, structuring transactions and arrange equity financing for these clients.

  • Scanning and evaluating potential candidates for fund raising, advisory and M&A activity.

  • Deal Origination: Collaborate with coverage and product bankers in deal origination, explore and facilitate transaction opportunities by making full use of various resources in firm.

  • Project Management: Coordinate various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects, including managing project timelines, deliverables, and resources.

  • Leadership: demonstrate strong leadership qualities, integrity and the ability to inspire and motivate teams across various Southeast Asia to achieve business objectives.

  • Work effectively with senior management within the Investment Banking business globally as well as across other departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in a Business/Finance-related discipline.

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in a leadership role within Investment Banking in SE Asia. Preference will be given to candidates with strong experience in Singapore, followed by Malaysia, and then Thailand.

  • Has a proven track record in taking companies through the IPO process as well as advisory and M&A activity.

  • Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to devise creative solutions to problems.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, an effective negotiator.

  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
