Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
- Lead the design of end-to-end Agentic AI solutions for corporate banking, including digital onboarding, fraud detection, transaction intelligence, and client service automation
- Develop comprehensive architecture blueprints covering data flows, system integrations, AI/ML components, and user interfaces
- Define technical requirements and specifications that balance innovation with banking industry constraints and compliance requirements
- Create reference architectures and design patterns for reusable Agentic AI components in banking contexts
Technical Leadership & Innovation
- Evaluate and recommend AI technologies, frameworks, and platforms suitable for banking environments
- Design architectures that ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of AI systems in production banking environments
- Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to validate architectural approaches and technology selections
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in Agentic AI, generative AI, and their application in financial services
Banking Domain Integration
- Architect solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing banking systems (core banking, payment systems, risk platforms, etc.)
- Ensure designs comply with banking regulations, data privacy laws, and security standards (PCI-DSS, SOC2, etc.)
- Design for auditability, explainability, and governance of AI decision-making in regulated environments
- Collaborate with banking subject matter experts to understand business processes and constraints
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Technical Program Managers to translate business requirements into technical designs
- Work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and software developers to implement architectural designs
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and risk teams to ensure architectural compliance
- Engage with client technical teams to align solution architectures with their technology landscapes
Qualifications & Experience
Essential Requirements
- 8+ years in solution architecture roles, with minimum 5 years in banking/financial services technology
- Proven experience designing and implementing AI/ML solutions in production banking environments
- Deep understanding of corporate banking processes, products, and technology ecosystems
- Hands-on experience with AI technologies: machine learning platforms, LLMs, RAG architectures, autonomous agent frameworks
- Strong background in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud deployments for regulated industries
Technical Expertise
- Banking Systems: Core banking platforms, payment systems (SWIFT, SEPA), trading systems, CRM
- AI/ML Technologies: TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, AutoGPT, vector databases, MLOps tools
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Docker, serverless architectures, API gateways, microservices
- Integration: REST/gRPC APIs, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), ESB, event-driven architectures
- Security: OAuth, SAML, encryption, zero-trust architectures, banking security frameworks
Banking Domain Knowledge
- Corporate banking products (cash management, trade finance, lending, treasury)
- Banking regulations (Basel III, PSD2, GDPR, local compliance requirements)
- Risk management frameworks and operational risk considerations
- Data governance and lineage requirements in financial services
Professional Skills
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex architectures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Leadership skills to influence technical direction without direct authority
- Ability to create architecture documentation, diagrams, and presentations
- Mentoring capability for junior architects and engineers
Certifications (Preferred)
- AWS/Azure/GCP Solution Architect certifications
- TOGAF or other architecture framework certifications
- CISSP, CISM, or other security certifications
- Banking/financial industry certifications
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- Advanced degree in relevant discipline preferred
