About the role

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting activities, ensuring compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), tax regulations, and internal policies. This role involves financial reporting, variance analysis, M&A transactions, audits, tax filings, and supporting in liquidation process while providing guidance to other team members.

What you will do

  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.

  • Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.

  • Liaise with auditors, prepare audit schedules, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

  • Support and review GST, corporate tax, and withholding tax filings by service provider in accordance with IRAS regulations.

  • Identify and implement enhancements to accounting processes and internal controls.

  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and projects analysis.

  • Support M&A transaction related activities in APAC; including accounting journal entry reconciliation, tax structuring, and  profit analysis.

  • Support the liquidation process in the region

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or ISCA membership preferred.

  • Minimum 4–7 years in accounting or audit.

  • Strong knowledge of SFRS and IFRS.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and MS Excel.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge in Singapore Taxation with minimum 3 years’ experience
