Full Description

Assurity Trusted Solutions (ATS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Government Technology Agency (GovTech). As a Trusted Partner over the last decade, ATS offers a comprehensive suite of products and services ranging from infrastructure and operational services, authentication services, governance and assurance services as well as managed processes. In a dynamic digital and cyber landscape, where trust & collaboration are key, ATS continues to drive mutually beneficial business outcomes through collaboration with GovTech, government agencies and commercial partners to mitigate cyber risks and bolster security ostures.

We run an internal government application serving the whole of government. Beyond maintaining core systems, we actively partner with agencies to design and implement product-centric solutions that address real operational needs. Increasingly, our work leverages AI across the stack — from intelligent automation and data-driven insights to generative interfaces and decision-support systems.

Our teams work in a cloud-native, AWS-based environment, building with Python, Node.js, and Go, and delivering modern frontend applications with frameworks like Vue.js. We move fast, stay agile, and adapt to ever-changing requirements and scope.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Software Engineer Intern (Generalist) to join our dynamic team.

  • Support the development and maintenance of backend and frontend systems under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Contribute to building services using Python, Node.js, or Go, learning best practices in software development
  • Assist in developing user-facing features with modern frontend frameworks (e.g. Vue.js, React, or similar)
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and partner agencies to understand requirements and contribute to solutions
  • Gain hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native infrastructure
  • Participate in debugging, testing, and optimising applications and workflows
  • Learn and apply code quality standards, testing practices, and operational excellence principles
  • Explore and experiment with AI tools and LLM-based solutions to enhance development productivity
