Job Overview The Accounting & Reporting team is responsible for the preparation of timely and accurate financial and regulatory reports to internal and external stakeholders. The Intern will be support the team through the various activities in the reporting cycle as well as process improvement projects and change initiatives. Key Responsibilities Month end closing activities such as bank reconciliations, journal postings, clearing of suspense accounts and preparation of balance sheet schedules Preparation of financial and regulatory reports Ongoing projects (e.g. process improvement, automation, accounting system change etc) Other ad hoc assignments as required Must have - Requirements (technical skills, general skills, required experience, length of experience, and education level) Currently studying or completed studies in an Finance subject-related tertiary course (i.e., Finance management and Accounting) Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel, Power Point and Word Able to work independently with minimal supervision, attention to detail and good team player Strong problem solving, analytical and communication skills Good to have - Requirements (technical skills, general skills, required experience, length of experience, and education level) Prior internship experience in Finance VBA proficiency Full-time candidates preferred, but open to part-time applicants Able to commit for a minimum of 6 months 86712 | Finance & Accounting | Student | n.a. | Allianz Singapore | Full Time or Part Time | Temporary Allianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
